Tickets just went on sale for Shakira’s upcoming concert at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana. The Colombian singer will be stopping in the popular Dominican Republic beach resort as part of her El Dorado World Tour which kicks off in June. Her performance in Punta Cana is scheduled for 18th October what will be Shakira’s first world tour in seven years. International Latin superstar and professional hip-shaker, Shakira, will be landing in Punta Cana this October to give a concert as part of her El Dorado World Tour.
Her much-awaited comeback to the stage after a seven-year hiatus (during which she became a mother twice) has meant that most of the tickets on the European leg of her tour have already sold out and new dates have been added with a stop in London scheduled for 11th June (tickets are still available for her London show but not many are left).

Shakira’s latest world tour will be met with much expectation from worldwide fans, not least of all because she was forced to cancel it last year after suffering from a haemorrhage on her right vocal cord. For months it was feared she would lose her voice completely and speculation grew as she was seen flying to Boston to have a consultation about laser surgery with the world’s best vocal specialist, Dr Steven Marc Zeitels (famous for having previously operated on high-profile patients like Adele and Steve Tyler). In the end, a few months of vocal rest was all that was needed for the Colombian songstress to nurse her chords back to health and in January 2018 the world tour that had been on hold for months was relaunched with new dates announced.
