This November, H10 Hotels has begun the construction of what will be its second establishment in the Dominican Republic: Ocean El Faro. Located by the beaches of Uvero Alto in a prime Caribbean setting, near some of the best beaches and around 30 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, the five-star establishment will have 909 rooms, of which 291 will be an adult-only area, while Privileged programs in resorts offer exclusive rooms and upgraded services. All rooms will be equipped with all the comforts of a latest generation 5-star resort. Highlights include the Swim Up Suites, rooms open out onto the pool, the Master Suites, which include a living room and private terrace, and the Rooftop Suites, with a private terrace that contains a Jacuzzi and sun lounger.
In addition, Ocean El Faro, which will operate under the All Inclusive regime and remove the need for dining reservations, will offer a wide range of cuisine. El Mercado will serve international cuisine with show cooking. Sakura will feature a Teppanyaki grill and sushi bar. Dolce Vita will be an Italian restaurant open from 06:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Pez Dama will serve buffet lunch and à la carte dinner. Ocean Burger will specialize in hamburgers and open from 12:00 pm to 05:30 pm. Blue Moon will be a romantic restaurant for adults only. The resort will also have a Despacio Spa Centre, a bowling alley, lazy river, family water park, casino, theatre, sailing centre and four meeting rooms. The most iconic element of the project’s architecture of the is a lighthouse that will crown the restaurant closest to the beach and which gives the hotel its name.
Its interior design will have a markedly colonial touch reminiscent of the old stately buildings of the country’s colonial cities. H10 Hotels is scheduled to open the hotel for the 2018-2019 winter season. This is the chain’s second resort in the Dominican Republic, where it already has the Ocean Blue & Sand, opened in 2005 and noted for its great beach location in Bávaro. Along with Ocean El Faro, Ocean Blue & Sand also offers extensive amenities like pools and bars, and Ocean by H10 Hotels features all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic while also operating in mexico, including riviera maya. H10 Hotels offer beach wedding ceremonies in idyllic settings for weddings and a perfect day. Wedding services also include banquets in elegant rooms and exclusive drinks receptions. H10 is one of the hotel chains in the area, and its Punta Cana room line totals 1,138 rooms across three locations with an average review score of 8.2.
